The show trailer has a brand new rear axle, a fancy foldup ramp and storage rack, a new panel to hang hay racks up on, and some new top deck gates! Ready and waiting for this fall season and will be almost as busy as our spring one. What fall show are yall looking forward to the most?

Our second available buckling is from one of our lesser known-but by no means less- does, GCH SilverFire Last One to Show 2*M and and AI cross back to +*B GCH DKGH Eve's Most Wanted Everson. Both Showtime and Everson have proven invaluable in the foundation of our herd and created some of the most productive, structurally sound, and visually stunning mammaries we have bred. This buckling will boast both GCH SilverFire Hell on Wheels 3*M AND SGCH SilverFire Sippin Liquor 3*M as half siblings. Alas that this little beauty came out a buckling instead of a doeling is our loss and someone's gain. We are asking $950 for this boy, scoop him up before I convince the husband I changed my mind.....

Pictured is the buckling, his dam, and his sires dam (photo courtesy of Greenhaven Farms). Heavy on the Greenhaven influence on this stud, he will bring all his pretty structure to your does in spades. His dam also holds our barns 24 hr production record at 15.9lbs and has twice rivaled her own record. We are asking $XYZ for this production powerhouse of a buckling.

We have decided to part with one of our mature bucks, *B SilverFire Aces Never Lie, due to just not using him enough and we have him frozen in the tank for some AIs. He's not the gentlest, but isn't hard to catch and handle at all. Will add stature, bone, and great skin texture to his get and has done some beautiful topline work for us. Also pictured is his dam, SR Ranch Lyin, and littermate sister, GCH SilverFire Troubles I Forgot 2*M. We have many many half and quarter siblings to this buck in our herd and enjoyed working with him. He is also only lacking one championship leg to being a finished buck as well. We will ask $1200 for him, with consideration to a home that will sn**ch up that last leg and finish him out.

Our last show of the spring season wrapped up at the Dairy Capital Classic in Sulphur Springs. For a first time hosting this crew did an amazing job. We look forward to our fall season starting in Sept and taking the hot summer months to catch back up after a stacked May show run!

The bucks started us off on Friday, and while our string is light, they stepped up everywhere we could've asked. Our new leased beautiful boy, Sunflower Farms Smooth Talker, wrapped up his championship in style with a Grand and Best of Breed win both over our own challenger, *B GCH SilverFire C.Jinks, who won Best of Breed in the ring before. And fresh out of the box (or trailer mind you), our new little guy DKGH Candyman Envys Sublime, went 3x Jr Champion, and once Reserve against the big boys even! He also handily stacked up those jr Best in show (not sanctioned) wins for the jackpot jr buck money and didn't even leave a debate for the judges!

As for senior does, SilverFire Play the Game finally decided since she was a recently turned 3yo it was high time to finish this up and went 2x Grand, 1x Best of Breed, and even 1x Best in Show to wrap up her championship as well. SilverFire Broken Halo stepped up ring 3 and picked herself up her 2nd milking leg going Grand and was backed up by challenger GCH SilverFire Black Rose 2*M in Best of Breed and Best in Show.

Junior does came to play, with grands and restricted legs for SilverFire Cadillac and SilverFire Little Smack after spending most their show seasons in Reserve collecting rosettes 🤣. And for her show debute and new nickname of "the opinionated one" little SilverFire Jim Beam showed off her pretty self in true angry nubian baby style and backed up her herdmates with Reserve. Caddy finished us off with another Best in Show chair to take home as well!

This weekend the SilverFire crew loaded up and made the trip to Baton Rouge. On the way we couldn’t help but admire how well purple and gold go together and knew we had to get some more of those ribbons to match....

Saturday morning C**t got us started with SilverFire Broken Halo earning a milking leg and Grand. GCH SilverFire Black Rose 2*M however edged her out for Best of Breed, a habit she repeated three of four rings. SilverFire Raindrop collected her first Reserve of the weekend.

In ring two, SilverFire Wasabi edged out reserve winner SilverFire Play the Game for the final leg of her championship. Wasabi went on to get own Best of Breed and our first Best in Show!

On day two, SilverFire Latigo got us started when she rose to the top with her own Grand, finishing her championship as well! With SilverFire Raindrop grabbing Reserve again behind her, then grabbing another reserve in ring 4. Always the brides maid…..

When it was time for the juniors to shine, it was SilverFire Rage and Ruin getting us started coming out of the middle of the 9-12 month class to pick up a Grand ribbon and junior leg with SilverFire Little Smack picking up a Reserve behind her. C**t stood proud again when he showed SilverFire Stagger Down to her first leg before going on to their own Best in Show, with SilverFire Final Score watching from her Reserve spot. Score later decided those purple and gold ribbons looked like fun so she strutted her way to her Grand and Best in Show too! SilverFire Cadillac picked up a Reserve as we finished off the show on an amusing note, when SilverFire Big Texas finished the show picking up her restricted leg and closing it down with a Best in Show to bring us up to 4!

Word is our travels didn't end on Sunday either, with a trip over 4 state lines coming up Tuesday/Wednesday this week..... stay tuned 😉.

She might be old, but she's still gorgeous. GCH CaprinoRoyale Freesia 1*M EX93. The last foundation doe of our herd still alive and could pry still take on half the herd if we milked her still. She is well retired from the show string, mostly retired from the milk string other than when she insists, and living out her days teaching the first fresheners that they better get up on that stand or get right out of her way. She still enjoys a nice short summer clip every year and gets her cookie afterwards.

Direct progeny in the herd are +*B GCH SilverFire Ray Wylie EX92, GCH SilverFire Black Rose 2*M EX92, and up and coming SilverFire Gold Digger. We sadly lost her phenomenal other son, ++*B GCH SilverFire Toby Keith EX92, last year and have limited semen available from him.
