Premium Angus bulls, that is what we are about. Mountain View Cattle Company Inc. is a family owned and operated cow and calf ranch located in the beautiful Baker Valley of eastern Oregon. The lush grass pastures are fed by streams from the Elkhorn Mountains to the west, and flow into the Powder River to the east. This is Mountain View Cattle Country, this is Angus country. At Mountain View Cattle

, our priority is calving ease and a calf that can get up and go. A balanced approach to E. D's, and visual appraisal is important an important part of our operation. It is as important that you like the look of the bull as is his performance. IN other words, your eyes are just as valuable a tool as Expected Progeny Differences (E. D.), and we believe strongly in both. Calving occurs mid March to mid May due to weather, and grass growing conditions. Subsequently our bull calves are too young for most to use as yearlings. We generally sell coming two year old bulls that are developed slowly on long hay and grass pastures. This slower, NON FEEDLOT, development allows for improved fertility and longevity, which is a better value for you. Mountain View Cattle bulls are priced for you, are fertility tested, and delivered to your ranch in the Pacific Northwest, at no extra charge. Our cattle will work for you, so give us a call or stop by. You will find us in the Wingville area, just northwest of Baker City, Oregon

Busy times, wild weather, grandkids road trips....just trying to keep up with it all!! Calving just about done, went to help Lane's outfit in Hereford, and delivered locker beef. Perpetual motion seems to keep us moving......just not sure if it's coming or going.
