CM McKenzie Family Honey

CM McKenzie Family Honey CM McKenzie Family Honey was established in 1965 by Clinton McDonald (CM) Mckenzie in the small town of Sopchoppy Florida.

Clinton spent his entire life except for his service in WW2 (as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne) in Wakulla County, Florida. Clinton was a devoted husband and father, an avid fisherman, farmer, and man of God. In 1968 he added a partner…his son Mark. Clinton was a beekeeper up until his death in 1996. Sadly, after his death, the business folded as Mark was now in the Air Force and could not co

ntinue it. Mark never forgot the love his father had for bees and the outdoors. He spoke often to his children about his memories of the cherished time he and his father spent in apiaries and woods in north Florida as beekeepers. In 2021 Mark and his family (wife Tammy, son Jacob, and daughter Madeline) wanted to honor Clinton and so established CM Mckenzie Family Honey in Baker, Florida from a swarm hive found in an abandoned house. CM Mckenzie honeybees can be found around the small town of Baker. They roam through cotton, soybean fields, and corn fields, along the Blackwater River and throughout the Blackwater Forest. Please enjoy CM Mckenzie Family Honey products while remembering the amazing bees that produce it.
