Hello everyone! This is Angela again and I wanted to share with you where things stand with Retro Sno in Baker. Today was our last day of Saturday morning soccer and we are back to our spot 2-630. We will be open again tomorrow and Tuesday, Thurday, and Friday next week. Beyond that is up in the air. It is so hard for me to throw in the towel even when I have advisors telling me it’s time. There are some really awesome people in Baker and we have some awesome workers from Baker so I just can’t make the call to close shop. So I decided to let you all do it. 🤷‍♀️ So, if we have enough business to be profitable Today-Friday, we will open the following week. Rinse and repeat! We don’t expect everyone to come every day; so instead, please encourage your friends and family to come by sharing this post or creating a post expressing that you need their help. If you are over it, that’s cool. I’m not strong arming anyone. I feel this is the best way to see if sporting events is enough of a presence by RetroSno in Baker. If you have suggestions of something we can do on our end to make it better without a significant financial investment, please share those with us. Don’t forget we are OPEN TODAY from 2 - 630 ready and excited to see you all. 🥰

Morning everyone! This is Angela, owner of Retro. For several years now, I have been trying to keep providing our products to some amazing people in Baker; as well as jobs to some local kids. This year we have tried to have a more consister presence with our blue trailer staying in Baker. Still, we are just not getting enough busines to even break even. We will have a good day every couple of weeks but most other days don't generate enough money to pay the person working. It appears we have even lost some customers to Cefco. I seriously considered adding scooped ice cream, but decided I can't invest more money to make things better. So as tough as it is, the tentative plan is for May 26 to be our last day at our regular spot. We will still be around for sporting events and will post those dates and locations on this page. Also, these last two weeks will be a little different, so watch for open days. This week we will only be open Thurday, Friday & Sunday; but we will be at PRBC on Saturday from 9-1 for Soccer and you are welcome to come by there to see us. More info to come.
