Fall is here on the mountain!

We had to do a switcheroo this weekend. We had planned on keeping Highland Lad's Finn (Registered Shorthorn Plus) within our breeding program, along with our 100% Shorthorn sire. However, his EPD'S had other plans. 🤣 He is not calving ease, not in the slightest bit. As we were in need of a great calving ease bull for our heifers, we have retained Highland Lad's Matteo instead. Our buyers were delighted to have Highland Lad's Finn for their herd. He is our beautiful "heavyweight". We are excited to see what our two sires are capable of during our next breeding season. Exciting things to come!!!
