The fridges at the drug store and my house are full and I have no more jars I can fill right now! If you have jars please return them so I can get them filled up.
That being said I had to doctor Iggi today to try to give her a little boost to get her hips back to healthy after she had to walk around her massive bag and with her big belly for months before she calved. The medicine has a 5 day milk withdraw period, so I’ll be putting calves on her for a few days.
If I need milk I’ll run Tinkerbelle or Nala in but the way the fridges are looking we will be ok for a few days!

I splinted Jade’s little guy’s leg yesterday, took it off today to check it and he’s walking much better on it. This morning he was bucking and playing after he nursed. I’ll try to get a video of it, it’s so stinking cute

Please make sure the jars you return are clean and dry. I am getting some back smelling like sour milk and still wet. I do always re wash them but it’s hard to get that sour milk smell out of plastic lids. 🧽 🧼

Also- if you have empty jars and aren’t planning on buying more milk in the near future would you please return them to the drug store for your deposit back? I’m out of jars! 🫙 🥛

And….Jade’s baby walked on his own today! His foot still folds over so I’m going to splint him this morning. He stood and walked and nursed! Big things happening for him

The fridge has milk! Stop in and stock up!

Jade’s baby is still struggling. One of his front legs buckles at the fetlock (bottom knuckle) and his back legs are weak. He has not stood on his own yet. Probably some sort of nerve damage. Luckily his mama is a low rider because he can lay and nurse. He does tucker out easily so I have to tube feed him also. We aren’t giving up on him though

Jade’s baby is struggling, he’s alert and has nursed but he can’t stand up. I’m trying all the tricks I have to help him out. We have done the madigan squeeze twice, and he has improved every time, but his legs are like noodles. He’s getting some steroid treatment and I’m going down now to run the Healy and put a red light on him. I’ll try all the things to keep my babies alive and healthy!

If I have time between dealing with him and running kids to and from camp, I’ll skim some cream and bring it in! I’ll post if I do!

Congratulations to Jada Morgan! You are the winner of a free gallon of whole milk!
Jade had her bull calf by cesarean section this evening about 8:30, right after Locklyn and I got home from Denver! Mom and baby boy are both doing great.

Everyone gets their morning and bedtime scratches every day! All the babies running around are being fed by all those cows, the milk I am selling is coming from just Iggi. She’s been giving me 4-5 gallons a day!
