Our history begins in the outside skirts of Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico. In a small town called Tlajomulco de Zúñiga. Our small town really needed a butcher shop, since the nearest one was about 11 miles away. In the year 2000 we opened up a Butcher Shop. It was family ran and that's when we discovered that our passion was in the food industry. We tied connections with a local farm and started sell

ing the best and freshest meats. After running our successful Butcher Shop for a year we decided to sell cooked food. We began by selling tacos in the evenings. Our tacos were (like they say) Rancho Style. Our tacos were served "Rustic", with handmade tortillas made with daily grind fresh masa. Our meats were grilled on charcoal mesquite for a smoky delicious flavor. Our Salsas were made from fire roasted tomatoes and peepers which were hand picked from our own fields my Father used to worked in. We followed our Mother's secrete seasonings and meat marinating tips. With all of this we created a mouth watering taco. Our business started booming and we ended up opening 4 Butcher / Tacos Shops. We kept a simple menu offering Tacos de Asada, Pastor, Carnitas, Lengua, Chorizo, Pollo and Al Pastor. We became a locals favorite spot for tacos. One day, my wife had the best idea ever, to move back to Bakersfield California and take our recipes and open up our own Taco business in Bakersfield.And we did it! Now our family back in Mexico are running the businesses. My wife and I live here in Bakersfield with our children. We've opened up our Taco Truck business named after our businesses back in Mexico, Los Taqueiros. We quickly became voted #1 Bakersfield Best Tacos. We brought the authentic Rustic Tacos Al Carbon flavor to Bakersfield.
