Thank you to everyone who supported this mission. To all of our donors who contributed, and to every volunteer who committed their time and energy — we are deeply grateful.

It has been an honor to serve our local farmers and support our community through this effort.

Though this chapter is closing, the impact lives on in every bale, every handshake, and every shared moment of care.

Unfortunately we do not have any other livestock hay at this time.

UPDATE: 7-18-25 Spruce Pine Satellite Hay Bank

We had a great turnout at today’s hay bank and want to share a huge THANK YOU to Fields of Support Foundation for their generous donation that allowed us to purchase gift cards for the farmers who came by the hay bank today! 💚

Each gift card supports one of our many amazing local businesses — and we’re thrilled to be able to give back to the folks who feed us AND the businesses that keep our towns thriving! 🛍️💪

Here’s who we were proud to support today:

🍦 High Country Scoops & Shakes – Spruce Pine’s newest ice cream spot serving up high-quality, delicious scoops!

🍳 Mammie's Breakfast Barn– Comfort food at its best… have y’all tried that French toast?! 😋

🥪 The Ambered Jack – Tasty subs, pizza, & top-notch service every time! 🍕

🚗 Bonnie and Clydes Drive In – Everyone’s favorite pit stop with mouthwatering meals and hometown charm! 🍔

🛒 Just Local – A gem of a market featuring organic, locally grown produce, meats, artisan goods & amazing fresh lunches! 🌿🥗

🍰 Roan View Mercantile – Newly opened and serving up soft serve, sundaes, baked treats & the sweetest gifts! 🎁

☕ Country CAFE – Went above & beyond by donating all their gift cards at no cost! We’re so grateful! 🙏 Their food = chef’s kiss! 👩‍🍳💖

We’re honored to pour back into our community and uplift the local businesses that make our area special. Please go show them some love and support local! 🌻🧡

📣 For those wondering when hay will be available for distribution we are currently finalizing a donation truck coming in next week. Hay pick up day coming soon!

📣Reminder Hay Bank will be open Friday 7/18 from 1-6pm distributing variety of animal feeds. Follow Roan Mountain Drafts for inventory post.

✅we are stocked in limited quantities of the following animal feeds:
12/8 & senior horse feed
All stock feed
Wet Dog food
Cat litter
Alfalfa shreds

❌We are all out of stock:
Goat feed
Chicken feed
Cat food
Pine shavings
Straw for bedding

❗️PLEASE NOTE ALL SUPPLIES ARE IN LIMITED QUANTITY. Due to high demands of certain feeds we are having to ration amounts given in order to ensure more farmers can receive support. All items are first come, first serve. We are unable to hold items aside or guarantee to have what you need. Thank you for understanding!❗️

Happy birthday Mary!! Red Bell Run ♥️🥳🎈

Today, we’re celebrating an extraordinary woman, our President and Founder, Mary Adams! 🎉 Mary’s unwavering strength, compassion, and leadership are nothing short of inspiring. Her vision turned a 200-acre property with nothing but a vineyard into a safe haven for over 130 special-needs equines, from miniature horses to massive drafts and everything in between. Through her tireless efforts, animals who had nowhere else to turn have found a place to heal, thrive, and be truly loved.

Mary, your strength, kindness, and tireless dedication move us every day. You are the very heart of Red Bell Run. On your birthday, we send all our love and gratitude.
