Our 2026 National Championship Chuckwagon Race-Bar Of Ranch experience. It was hot and dusty but it was such a great learning experience for Bernie and Sporky! Unfortunately Sporky ended up getting his leg around a lead rope so he was not ridden all week but that just meant Sporky was able to practice standing tied. He’s a pro at this point👌🏼😅
We were able to direct our focus on Bernie and riding him and exposing him to as much of the experience as possible. He got excited a few times and is a naturally FAST walker so he learned some patience and pacing himself. We were able to short lope him on the track and he LOVED every second of it. Not sure exactly what this boys job will be one day but it will absolutely involve speed.
On the last day of races we felt comfortable enough standing him by the starting line where the commotion and gunshots happened and he was so interested in what was going on, he didn’t spook and just stood and watched. He followed wagons without difficulty, crossed water and bridges. Moving cars, trucks, trailers didn’t phase him. I’m so proud of him! For a 2 year old he sure does impress me☺️
Dustin Warner and I found a hat shop Mike's Custom Hatters and Dustin bought me a hat, the man who worked there was so nice and branded both of our hats with our farm brand at no additional charge.

‼️“Little Sanjo OLena” ‼️has arrived 🤩
When you love his babies so much, you decide to co-own a stud with your bestie😅🤣
✨ Armani and Paddy are both sired by Sanjo and we are SO excited to see more of where they came from🤗
👀 Y’all keep an eye out for a stud service page dedicated to him once we get some things sorted out.

His genetics say he’s supposed to “not like cows” Poor Armani is just a lover boy 🤦🏼‍♀️🐮🥹

The face you make when you pull into the driveway at home coming from the vet’s office that’s 5 minutes down the road where you took your pregnant dog because she was overdue for having puppies and you were concerned so you paid for an ultrasound for the vet to tell you everyone is healthy and that “her cervix is closed as closed can be” just for Mama Dog to pop a squat and push a baby out IMMEDIATELY when you let her out of the car and she proceeds to have 7 more babies in the next couple of hours that all look IDENTICALLY BLACK when you were expecting some cool colors from the parents.

PUPPIES ANYONE!?!?🐾
✨ Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix puppies born 8/28/26.
Dad is 70lb registered Golden Retriever.
Mom is 40lb full blood Australian Shepherd.
SO FAR we have EIGHT sweet babies. Every single one of them are black with white chest and/or white toes🤍🖤
More boys than girls at this time! I will update as the evening goes, once we’re sure she’s delivered them all.
