So grateful to represent Dairy today and help bridge that gap between Schools and farms. Not only did I have fun, I also learned so much from the others on our panel.

We have had a busy summer here on and off the farm.

Our county fair looked a bit different this year for Bristol with the addition of two market lambs 🐑, along with her dairy steer Ranch (the most dairy steer you have seen 😂) 4 heifers and 2 milk cows 🐄.

It was a great week full of hard work, fun with friends, tent city hang outs, amazing food and the best people ever. We definitely missed Gigi, who was unable to come due to an unexpected health scare, all is good now.

Thinking ahead to next year when Blakely will be an official 4-Her and we will be even busier with more animals, I’ll likely need blood pressure meds and tranquilizers on hand 😵‍💫

Recently the Maryland Holstein Juniors traveled to the National Holstein Convention.

Competing in Quiz Bowl, Jeopardy and Public Speaking.

A great group of young people to represent our state and promote dairy. Well done to all.

Special shoutout to Bristol competing in the Prepared Speech contest for the first time as well as being part of the Junior Holstein Dairy Bowl team.
