Tabor Wines Escape to the countryside & explore our historic estate that boasts the oldest winery in Iowa.

Tabor Home Winery, located on our family's 1860s farmstead, is Iowa's oldest estate winery; our vineyards were planted in 1989 and the winery opened in 1996. Tabor Home is renowned for producing distinctive wines from our own and numerous local vineyards. These wines are establishing the regional identity for the Upper Mississippi River Valley viticulture area. The Sunday "Music in the Vineyards"

series with Iowa singer-songwriters, wine tasting overlooking the vineyards and panoramic Grant Wood countryside, a gallery of commissioned artwork, engaging and entertaining winery-vineyard tours, and a look into wine grape research in Iowa make Tabor Home Winery a fascinating Midwest winery experience.
