Belz Family Farm raises 100% grass fed and finished red angus cattle on our family farm near Baldwin, WI. Our children, their spouses and our grandchildren are our working crew - our "cowboys". All animals are born and raised here. We use Pharo Cattle Co. genetics to grow cattle that finish and marble on rotationally grazed grass and hay. The cattle are hormone, antibiotic and grain free. ted farming in Afton, MN in 1977 and moved to our present location in 2003. Several years ago we obtained a retail license to sell individually packaged meat. We have quarters and halves available June through October as well as hamburger year round, steaks, roasts, stew meat, liver, etc. most of the year.

Caring for cattle on a farm is a daily obligation, regardless of the weather, be it snow, wind, or rain. I'm relieved that we chose years ago not to have calves before May, as it's not suitable for Wisconsin.
