After being out of touch for quite a while, (intentionally so), I've been being drawn back into the ever intoxicating and consequently addicting 😅 world of goats. Thinking about some of my herd, and having others reach out to me through serendipity or fate after having acquired some with my herdname, and perhaps bad influence friends, (you know who you are and I am ever grateful for you 🥹), I am curious as to how my kids are doing. Also, in the melee that was my herd dispersal and the aftermath if any one has any registrations that are not complete please reach out to me and let me know so we can get them done. Other than that I'd love to hear how any of my originals or more recent Jovial Acres progeny are doing. 🥰🙂♥️

ADGA released the 2022 list of breeder leaders in milk production yesterday. Congratulations to all the breeders/owners and goats!
Cedar View goats are well represented by SG Cedar View Livia, SGCH Cedar View Phoebe, Cedar View Medeira, Cedar View Destiny and SGCH Cedar View Vita Bella.

( # 1 is listed again as a tie for #10, but it doesn’t affect the outcome unless there is another goat that should be tied for 10th place 🤷‍♀️)

This year has been an absolute and undeniable roller coaster. 🎢 As such, even with all the changes we've been making, I am forced to accept the fact that I can not maintain these numbers. 😔 I have a substantial number of yearlings/juniors/ffs that I can not handle freshening all myself, (along with my other does I heartily endeavor to breed, if for just one more time), 🤞🏻along with as many bucks/bucklings as well. None of these are "culls" by any means, and all have the chops to live up to my standards/goals of what I've been working toward the past 13+ years. 😍 All come from the top genetics in the country, and have been notable improvements in both conformation and mammary. 🔥 Most have either blue eyes, moonspots, or both, for those looking for such as a nice cherry 🍒 on top. 🍨 I have begun working toward updating the website with all available goats and their background information and pictures, 🥴 at which point all prices will be listed and set accordingly. In the meantime, I will be much more amenable to offering discounts/multiples/packages on any that I can skip that painstaking process on. 😉 If you are looking for something in particular, 👀 please feel free to PM. The twins from our last kidding of the year. 😊 Retained, doeling indefinitely, buckling I *might* be persuaded to sell to a stellar home. 🤔 Consequently, have begun work on updating the website, and downsizing is the next item on the agenda. Clipped the first 3 available blue-eyed, moonspotted bucklings, pictures to come, or available upon request. So much more work to do on the website, including adding updated and udder pictures, once I've dug them out of wherever they're hiding in "the cloud". 🙄 Will need to come up with an equally cheeky name for this little sass queen 👸 at some point as well. 😍
