Coyotes are part of nature, but they’re not welcome around our farm. They can be a serious threat to our animals, especially after dark. That’s why our animals are kept in secure pastures or barns at night. Our Great Pyrenees play a huge role in protecting them! Their size, deep barks, and natural guarding instincts help deter predators before they ever get close usually. 🐾❤️ Protecting my animals is important!

A Farm Day update… ❤️

We won’t be having another public Farm Day at Triple Brook Farm this year.

I know some of you have been waiting for another one, and I absolutely love getting to share the animals and farm with you. But lately, my heart has really been wanting to find ways to bring that same joy to people who may not be able to come here.

So this time, instead of having a public day at the farm, we will be spending an afternoon at the children’s hospital. Obviously Hank and the rest of the crew have to stay home, but we have a fun afternoon planned for the kids and hopefully can bring a little bit of what Triple Brook Farm is about to them - spreading joy and giving smiles. 😊

I don’t know exactly what Farm Day will look like going forward, but we’ll share more about future dates next year. I just know I want to keep finding ways to use the animals to bring some joy to others. ❤️

I started this garden last year because I wanted more butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and all the little visitors. 🦋🐝🌸

A year later, I’ve definitely found some favorites! These are a few of the flowers that I’ll plant again and again — not because they’re the only ones that work, but because I like to look at them (and they make great cut flower arrangements) 🌸

What’s one flower you would NEVER leave out of your garden? Cause there always room for another flower. 🌼
