Lazy D Farm, a family farm located in Ball Ground, Georgia. We currently raise Jacob sheep but also have Boer goats and Angora rabbits. Bring the Family for a great educational experience to the farm. We host our annual “Sheep to Shawl” event in April. Sheep to Shawl for 2012 will be held April 14, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. untill 3:00 p.m., so mark your calendar. We invite you to come see the sheep s

Step back in time with Members of the Appalachian Heritage Guild demonstrating old time skills and lifestyles of the Southern Appalachian culture along with historical artifacts for educational purposes. I will be doing a Kids Weaving Camp Thursday, July
25th 1:30-4:30 at OUT OF THE BOX ART STUDIO. There are 2 opening left for my class along with 3 other art days if you need a 4 day camp. The kids will be working with a cardboard loom, so they will take home both their project and the little loom to have for further projects!!!

Deadline to register is this Wednesday, July 17th

We cannot believe Summer camps are almost over we have had a GREAT summer so far.
Folk art Fun July 22-26 : 2 spaces only 1:30-4:30 Milton farm studio
Create in clay, wood, mixed media and a special weaving project from our friend from " Lazy D Farm" Cathy Dobson too.
Visit the animals here and end with an art exhibit showcasing students folk artists inspired work. Register on line by THIS Wednesday.
