BTS therapeutic horticulture program prep 🌼💛

From little details to big picture, there are so many beautiful steps in cultivating a healing space and plant activity for clients.

Between practitioner, participant, and the garden, we all embark on a journey together in GROWTH. 🙌

As the sun set behind the garden, I shared one of my favorite nature self-care tools with a group of ladies.

The act of sowing seeds.

It's so simple.

Yet...

when you're introduced to sowing seeds through therapeutic horticulture... an empowering connection happens... in my experience... you slow down the pace of sowing seeds, touch different textures of seeds , and discern when and how YOU NEED to sow seeds in your life... and THIS makes all the difference.

Instead of focusing on the performance of sowing seeds... you're connected to the process of sowing seeds.

When I am experiencing hardship and I need hope, I know it's time to sow seeds - regardless of how it's going to turn out.

And... majority of the time I'm sowing seeds with tears. The best type of water. 🙏

Sow seeds of HOPE when you need hope.

🌼 Garden Volunteers Needed at Daffodilly Farms! 🌼

We're opening garden volunteer opportunities for our Summer and Fall Therapeutic Horticulture programs, and we'd love to invite our community to be part of what we're growing.

Throughout the season, we'll be welcoming trauma overcomers (women, children, and families) for healing experiences centered around flowers, gardening, creativity, and connection.

Volunteer opportunities include:
• Weeding garden beds
• Planting flowers and herbs
• Watering
• Harvesting blooms and herbs
• Mulching
• General garden cleanup
• Seasonal farm projects

Whether you have a few hours to give or would like to volunteer regularly, we'd love to have you join us.
