Raising mini cows sounds pretty glamorous until you realize your daily schedule consists of:

• Checking babies 47 times a day
• Taking approximately 900 pictures of the same cow
• Getting attached to every single one
• Talking to cows like they’re your children
• Trying to decide which ones you actually need to keep
• And somehow ending up with more cows than you started with 😂

But honestly… we wouldn’t trade it.

There’s something pretty special about watching these babies hit the ground, seeing their personalities develop, and knowing they’re headed toward families who will love them just as much as we do.

Welcome to Red Cactus Minis — where the cows are small, the personalities are BIG, and “just one more” is never actually just one. 🌵🐮

Sometimes they just remind you of things and you can’t unsee it. The last calf of the season is officially now Frank 🤭🤣 Frank is a lover, a little disheveled and would make a fantastic steer companion or pasture pet for anyone!

Happy 4th of July from all of us at Red Cactus Minis! 🇺🇸🐮

We’re taking a little break this holiday weekend to spend some much-needed time with family (and, of course, the cows!). Thank you for following along, supporting our program, and cheering on our little herd.
