I am truly at a loss for words. Today Fosbury and I won the Region Eight Intermediate I championship! What a spectacular day! This horse has been with me all season, and today was no exception. Days like these inspire me to do more. And as everyone knows, it takes a village. First, of course, thank you to my wife, Sarah J. Trombadore, for supporting me through everything! And also of course thank you so much Kaaren Powell for giving me the ride on your wonderful boy. There are so many. Tina M. Konyot who has pushed me for the last two weeks or more to be better than i ever thought i could be. Linda Zang, who changed my life. Steffen Peters, whose insight in just a couple of lessons has been inspirational. So many others. Kathy Geyer Rowse who pushed me to go for my usdf gold medal. Olav Drehn whose generosity of time and advice i will never forget. And all the wonderful people at Bishop's Gate! Melissa Riehl Andrea McBurnie Amelie and Jackie Jacqualine Burk Gail Distefano Susan Marie Stuhr, Lindsey Battiste Melanie Butler Robin Glennon Christina Windhorse you all have made everything I do so worthwhile. I'm sure I've left many out. Thank you everyone!!!

Farewell to 2023….WOW…..What a year! Here are a few highlights:

Bishops Gate welcomed several new horses to the program this year. Santiana, a super talented and stunning FEI Hanovarian mare 🖤 Glamour Tyme, a well-bred, young imported Dutch warmblood 🤎 Bristol Gable, a Welsh Cob x rockstar schoolmaster pony ❤️‍🔥 We also hosted several horses throughout the year for short term training and many many lessons given by both Jeff and Andrea.

We went to several incredible clinics, including Lilo Fore, Linda Zang, and Beth Beaumert. Jeff also had an exciting opportunity to ride Santiana with Steffen Peters at Equine Affaire, where they both shined! Such great experiences and so much incredible information to bring back to our home training.

Nearly every horse at the farm went to shows this year, an exciting and busy season for sure!! BGF was well represented and we are super proud of everyone. We rounded out the year with a great showing at Region 8 Championships and took home a few ENYDCTA year end awards too:

Bristol Gable & Andrea McBurnie took Grand Champion at Second Level; Fynn & Andrea took Grand Champion at Fourth Level and at Prix St George; Amelie and Shawnee won Grand Champion at Training Level and overall Jr high score! Honorable mention to Mesias and Jeff who received a USDF rank at 2nd level for Dressage Horse of the Year! Finally, a super special achievement and huge round of applause for Andrea who earned her silver medal this season!!! 🩶🎉

As we say farewell to 2023, we reflect on the hard work, dedication, and success of all the horses, owners, boarders, and BGF supporters, as well as the BGF staff, what a great team! 🤩 Thank you!!

Looking forward to 2024, new opportunities, more clinics, and shows! Happy New Year everyone 🍾🥂✨

We had a super clinic with five of our horses on Thursday & Friday at Trilogy Equestrian Center. What a great opportunity to train with USDF Certified Trainer/instructor, Beth Baumert!

Thank you ENYDCTA for arranging the clinic and Trilogy Equestrian Center, LLC for hosting! We were also able to help out and audit the Saturday & Sunday sessions Viridian Farm.

Taking a breath and getting caught up from a super busy and fun show season! A few new horses, and a pony too, some new students to showing and a few veterans, it was a great summer, everything from Intro to I1 at Stockade Polo and Saddle Club and HITS-on-the-Hudson. To round out the season, we had six horses qualify for Region 8 Championships and we took some nice awards. Really proud of the BGF team for all the hard work and great accomplishments this year. Thanks to everyone who supported our team.

Our sights are now set on training, clinics, and the 2024 show season! Enjoy the highlight pics and have a great winter everyone. 💙❤️💛🤍💜
