Hello! Our doors officially open tomorrow, August 26th. We cannot wait to welcome you in 💜 The patio is set, the drinks are cold, the vibes are good, and the food is delicious.

Reservations: at this time we are not accepting reservations. Next week we will start accepting reservations beginning the week of Sept. 9-12 in person or via our phone number for the 'show seating' timeslot between 4-5:30pm.

We are elated to say that we are OPENING! We have put the finishing touches in the dining room, on the patio, and in the kitchen! So many thanks to Dodge Bros Construction, who has been working tirelessely with us to make this dream a reality. We cannot wait to serve you delicious scratch-made food, prepared with love, and sourced locally. We will officially open our doors Wednesday, August 26th!

Our restaurant hours will be:
Wednesday: Burger Night 4-9pm
Thursday: 11-9pm
Friday: 11-9pm
Saturday 11-9pm
*Kitchen last call will be 8:45pm

Here we are looking back through the camera roll of Fiddlehead summer dishes. Boy do we miss cooking for you all! The summer bounty is calling to us, and we can't wait to start filling our fridge with local veggies soon. If you've passed the new building (120 N Washington) recently you know it's made huge strides in the past couple weeks. We are SO close to announcing opening dates, so stay tuned.

For those of you who aren't familiar with us, this is Fiddlehead food! Menus are based upon what ingredients are available from our local farmers seasonally. These photos show the types of dishes you can expect to see when we open up. Food made with heart, using ingredients from farmers stewarding the land.

Drive by 120 N Washington, St. Croix Falls to see how the transformation is coming along! We officially have beautiful new windows from our neighbors Indianhead Glass, and floors! (Swipe to see some fresh and gorgeous new oak flooring). This old building is getting so much love, and we can’t wait to show it off to you.
We are charging towards an opening date in August (exact date tbd, but we will let you know soon!)

We're feeling a little nostalgic on our last weekend at The Barred Owl before we break to open our new restaurant in August.

The first photo is our first day of service at the Owl. We had no idea in that photo of what Fiddlehead would become. We were just two ladies who knew we had to keep cooking local, seasonal food and hoped that people would want what we were dishing up. It's been an amazing three years. We have loved cranking out our small, ever-changing menus from all different cuisines out of our service window. But it's time for us to move on now and create our own home to welcome you to. We have been working hard on our new building, and we think you'll love it. We will have a full bar, patio, and brand new dining room.

Please join us on our 'farewell for now' tour this weekend! Have a drink, grab some food, and enjoy the last weekend of Fiddlehead at the Owl.

This is it, Fiddle Friends. Our final menu at the Barred Owl goes through June 20th.

We are so excited for our next chapter, but sad to leave this special place filled with so many memories, new and old friends, and 3 WHOLE YEARS cranking food out of “the kitchen”, aka our second home.

We are cooking your all-time favorites. Our arms are already tired thinking about making a million orders of wok-fried rice for you, but we can’t wait.

We will be taking the next few weeks to move, clean and set up our new space in St. Croix falls, and are predicting opening the first week of August!!!

We are so excited to see what is to come for our friends at . You are all in such good hands.
