After much consideration, I have made the difficult decision to close Yorktown Spice. While this chapter is coming to an end, I hope it is not goodbye forever. My sincere hope is that one day I will be able to bring our sauce back to you.
Sharing my recipe and family tradition through Yorktown Spice over the past five years has been one of my greatest joys.
To every customer who has supported me over the years, thank you. To all of my partners who have been part of this journey, thank you. To every staff member who worked alongside me, thank you for your dedication, hard work, and belief in what we were building.
And to my family and friends who supported me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to my husband for the late nights in the kitchen, the early mornings at events, the countless hours managing logistics, and for supporting this dream every step of the way. Thank you to my dad for the many hours spent helping in the kitchen. Thank you to my mom for caring for my children while I made sauce and attended events. And thank you to my mother-in-law, whose encouragement gave me the confidence to start Yorktown Spice and who never stopped promoting and supporting the business.
Your loyalty, encouragement, and love for our Crab Sauce have meant more than words can express. So many of you continue to reach out asking for sauce, and knowing how much our product has become a part of your tables, gatherings, and traditions means more to me than you know.
It has been an honor to share a family recipe and tradition with so many homes and families over the past five years.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for supporting a family tradition that means so much to me.
