Shortbread cookies are my absolute favorites! Easy to make with only a few ingredients.
Here’s an easy way to add my products

I had a bunch of taste sized containers of jams and jellies in the fridge, and here’s the end result.
Shortbread jam cookies
1cp unsalted butter, room temperature
2/3 c sugar
2 c flour
1/2 TB vanilla extract
Any jam or jelly

*Cream the butter and sugar
*Beat in the vanilla
*Add flour slowly
*Let your covered dough chill in the fridge for 1 hour
*Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet
*Flatten the ball just a little with a spatula
*Use a large wooden spoon to make a dip in the center of the dough, then fill the dip with a tsp of jam or jelly
*Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes til the edges are brown
LET THE COOKIES COOL COMPLETELY
You can eat these warm and they’ll taste fine, but the texture changes when the cookie is completely cool. Definitely worth the wait!
