More than a celebration, the Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival is a platform for truth-telling—an affirmation that heritage is not only something to remember, but something to invest in, protect, and pass on. As we gather along Baltimore’s Middle Branch waterfront during the convergence of the United States’ 250th anniversary, the 100th anniversary of the movement that gave rise to Black History Month, the 80th anniversary of Cherry Hill Homes, and a decade of this Festival, we are reminded that the future belongs to communities bold enough to tell their own stories. Through arts, culture, and meaningful dialogue, we transform public space into living history and reclaim storytelling as economic power, civic presence, and collective memory.

Idk what your looked like but I spent the day with my BAFM [HEY COUSIN!]] fam over at Baltimore Museum of Industry and a MFN BLK ASS TIME WAS HAD! Got to see Ego+Soul=Balance and Tweet perform, had some bomb food from Stirr It Up Caribbean Food Truck Tia's Italian Ice - cocktails by The Stylish Bartender and really just a spectacular day! I stumbled into one of Baltimore’s newest cafés today, and y’all… this place is gorgeous. Tribe is exactly the kind of space we need in downtown. Great coffee, really good food, genuinely kind people, and some of the coolest artwork I’ve seen in a café in a long time. The gallery currently features Baltimore artist Murjoni Merriweather ( M U R J O N I ) , and her sculptures alone are worth stopping in to see. It feels like the kind of place you can grab breakfast, knock out some work, meet a friend, or just sit and soak it all in. I love seeing Downtown Partnership continue to grow with spaces that celebrate local artists and give people a reason to stick around. Definitely adding this one to my regular rotation.

I tried the crab croissant and the jerk wrap both were wonderful - so fresh! I can’t remember the name of this delicious berry latte moment that I tried but also Yum!
