‼️LAST THURSDAY IN PIGTOWN! It’s hard to believe it.

🕤 We’re open 4-9pm and releasing two new beers today.

☕️ We made a very special variant of our flagship porter Tears & Toil, with cinnamon, vanilla, and special dark coffee from our roastery pals !

🍺 We are also thrilled to release our collaboration Born in Water with our best beer bar buds .sonnen!

Born in Water is a single malt, single hop (SMaSH) beer made using very clean huskless pilsner malt and super fresh and fruity Mosaic hops. We fermented this beer cool with English yeast for extra character!

🪩🩶There are a handful of NYE tickets still up for grabs and it will be our best party yet without a doubt! Link to tickets is in our bio!

NYE is perhaps the most freeing time of the year. We’ve all just made it through the holiday season and get to shake that off.

We get to leave all of the unsavory things in 2023 and take only the sweet things with us into 2024.

Of course we could do this any day but there’s something romantic about everyone doing it at the same time, counting down to a fresh start together.

For one night we don’t have to worry about our big projects, those pesky house renovations, fitness goals, our career trajectory, learning that new language, none of it. We get to give ourselves license to be unconstrained and to have fun.

We designed the Suspended NYE party to be as easy and carefree as it gets. It’s always filled with the incredibly wonderful people. It’s open bar so you don’t have to worry about opening or closing a tab (or forgetting a credit card). You don’t need to waste precious brain cycles making decisions about food on a menu.

Just show up, grab your drinks whenever you’d like them, grab some food from the Ekibuffet () when you’re ready for
It, smile and laugh with loved ones, and dance all the way into the new year under a ceiling sparkling with disco ball lights 🪩

We can get back to the grind in 2024 after an epic party and a very long night’s rest. Can’t wait to see everyone there.

We’ll have cocktails on draft and some classic cocktails made to order, bubbly for toasting, beer (of course), and a steady beat to dance our way into 2024!

Come party with us on our final night pouring drinks at 912 Washington Blvd 🪩

the okay everything + suspended brewing art show collaboration beer is finally here!

to match the unique spirit of caroline's work the brewery chose to bottle a single american oak barrel of petite amber saison aged for 18 months.

most wild beers—and all of suspended’s previous wild beers—are done in second hand french oak barrels. this provides the benefits and effects of aging in wood with without adding character.

this collaboration beer’s canvas is a slowly formed acidity layered with strokes of vanilla from the american oak, highly detailed munich malt brushwork, and is framed with natural carbonation from the final fermentation in the bottle.

like other works of art, this beer can age gracefully over time at room temp and upright.

Come celebrate the final New Years Eve Party at 912 Washington Blvd. We had our first pour on NYE in 2017, and we will celebrate all the wonderful memories we've made in the space since. We will eat, drink, dance and party our way into 2024. There will be an open bar with beer, cocktails and bubbly. Just like each of our beers, we will have 3 thoughtfully crafted cocktails on draft, all made from scratch. In addition to the open bar, tickets include food by Ekiben. Suspended's own brewer turned DJ is back by popular demand.

Tears and Toil, our beloved petite porter, returns to taps today! This new batch has a slight adjustment in the medley of dark malts used to emphasizes the roasted cacao and coffee notes. Still 4.2% abv and decadent as ever.

We’re super excited to welcome back the legendary Chef Rey of Heritage Kitchen () tomorrow and Saturday to help us make the most out of our last month at 912 Washington Blvd.

Hope to see y’all then!

Pigtown has been Suspended’s home over the past seven years. In 2017 we poured our first pint on New Year’s Eve. This New Year’s Eve we will pour our last pint at 912 Washington Blvd.

We’ve spent countless hours inside our space. We’ve renovated and built it up with our own hands, refined our craft here, and served our community members with a place for them to call their own.

While we always knew we would fill our brewery with beer, we never anticipated the love that would fill this place and the memories that we would create here from weddings, birthdays, going-away gatherings, reunions, first dates and continued date nights, baby showers, engagements, fundraisers, community meetings, everyday conversations, art shows, and so much more.

Whether you’ve stopped by once, or if our home also became yours, we are truly grateful. This journey would be impossible and meaningless without you.

Suspended barely made it through the pandemic. Like many other small businesses we have struggled to find steady footing ever since and, lately, having such a large taproom has presented its own challenges.

We’ve found a small, cozy building in North Baltimore that will become our brewery’s new home. The move is more than an address change: it’s an opportunity to reinvent ourselves. There is a lot of work ahead so we don’t have a timeline yet, but will share the journey along the way.

We will continue normal taproom hours through 12/30/23 all the way up to our final New Year’s Eve celebration. We hope you will stop by for one last pint and are looking forward to sharing our last days together at 912 Washington Blvd.

Trolley Problem is back on tap! Unlike the moral quandary it’s named after, drinking this beer is an easy choice. It’s 4.8% and brewed with a medley of black malts that make for a very velvety roast character.

Taproom is open 4-9pm like usual today and 1-8pm tomorrow (Saturday).
