Has anyone watched the Netflix documentary about Martha Stewart yet?

It was quite the eye-opener. To us at Sweet & Spicy Sisters, Martha is the hardest working "lifestylepreneur" (our word to describe the empire that she built) and the best example of "teach what you know."

Big Sis and Baby Sis are still learning Martha, and we'll keep on teaching the "Siblings."

While preparing our Thanksgiving menus we stumbled upon this little fact about Julia Child:

Julia preferred to serve her guests cheesy Goldfish crackers before Thanksgiving dinner because it was one of her all-time favorite snacks. And she loved pairing it with a "reverse martini" (aka upside-down or "wet" martini).

Julia loved the herbaceous taste of vermouth, especially her preferred bottle of Maison Noilly Prat.

Gotta love Julia!

While preparing breakfast this Sunday morning I found myself reminiscing about the glorious bowl of Martha Stewart eggs displayed on her kitchen counter in nearly every tv episode. As a young girl raised in the city I never knew that chicken eggs could achieve such exciting colors on their own.

I would love to see these eggs up close for myself. Those are some well taken care of chickens 🐔 🥚

Well done Martha, well done.
