As the ideal candidate, you should enjoy interacting with and communicating effectively with people, as you will play a significant role in enhancing their vacation experience. Exciting news friends!!! 🎉The Dude Wrangler, Volume 1 Ebook (1948-1949) is now available on Amazon Kindle.
The Dude Wrangler is a newspaper-magazine published from 1948 - 1965 to promote tourism in the Texas Hill Country - featuring the beginnings of the great dude ranch industry. The magazine was created by Rose Whitley Crowell, (AKA Billie and Mamaw) who helped her father (William Wallace Whitley) open the ranch to guests in 1937. She ran the ranch with her husband Dee Crowell until the late '80's.
Chock full of stories, photos, poems, western fashion, weddings, and the 1950's western vibe- it's pure nostalgia! 🤠

As you know, we aren't big social-media posters, but we do like to share important news, no matter how sad. For those who do not already know, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Pancho in December. Our gentle giant was a beloved family member and "best friend" to many staff and guests of the ranch. He is greatly missed, and he has left a very LARGE empty space on the ranch and in our hearts. We love you, Pancho. See you at "the Bridge".
