We are back! Finally, post Covid, a much needed return to making the Ocean Crest garden a growing part of student’s learning and fun! All this week we have a little garden club going. Today we learned about the parts of a seed, edible plants and prepped one of the raised beds! 🌱🐯

SO EXCITED!
The wonderful construction company that retrofitted Ocean Crest has built 3 new raised beds in the garden! I will take and share photos tomorrow. So very grateful!

As the start of another awesome school year grows closer...our little garden has quite a lot of construction happening around it! Let's talk about getting a team together to spiffy it up for fall.

We will need new raised beds built with fresh soil and a thorough cleaning and weeding! Maybe there will be time for a fall planting of some hardy vegetables and flowers.

Let's grow!

Getting the garden ready for Earth Day! We are behind schedule with all this rain. The kids worked hard today!

We still need shoring up on the rotting raised beds. If anyone has some lumber or cement blocks and time, let me know!
