From dried flowers to soaking wet flowers! Dahlias are the only thing I had energy for today after such a crazy weekend. We put in about 275 of our own saved dahlia tubers that we dug up and divided last fall. That saved us a lot of 💰 on buying in tubers. We also have to believe that our own plants are adapting to our climate and growing conditions which we hope results in putting out the most resilient, productive tubers that we can replant the following year. We cut out the varieties that take up space and don’t produce— saying goodbye to Wine-Eyed Jill next year, as beautiful as she is. See last photo and list below for some recommended workhorses. 🙃

We have been prepping hard all week for our FOURTH year at the Common Ground Fair!! We will be there with smiles despite the varying weather predictions and can’t wait to be at the most wonderful place this weekend. A few updates! It’s the LAST CSA week! Don’t forget to check your emails and grab your last share this weekend. The dahlias are opening up just for you!

We ( grace ) will also be at both the Orono Farmer's Market and Bangor Farmers' Market this weekend and can’t wait to see you. We may be adjusting our market schedule and presence just a tiny bit in the near future with more details to come later.
