We returned to The Big E Farmer’s Market for another weekend of tastings — Our cheeses paired nicely with a local wine display. We connected with so many wonderful visitors. With 53 raffle entries and plenty of great conversations, our cheese at the Big E was a celebration of flavor…looking forward to seeing Pineland Farms cheeses in West Springfield, MA again next September.

This past weekend was a busy one for Pineland Farms Dairy! On Saturday, September 13, our cheddar curds were featured at the Maine PoutineFest at Thompson's Point in Portland — congratulations to PORTLAND LOBSTER COMPANY on taking home first place overall.

On Sunday, September 14, we joined fellow cheesemakers at the Maine Cheese Festival in Pittsfield hosted The Maine Cheese Guild , where our cheddars brought home three honors in the Traditional Aged Cheese category: first place for Reserve, second for Vintage, and third for Sharp.

We also spent time at the Farmers Market The Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts, sharing our cheeses with fairgoers from across New England. We’re proud to be part of such a vibrant food community and grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate local food and great cheese with us.

On Sunday, September 14 from 11:00–5:00 at Manson Park in Pittsfield, you’ll find us sampling alongside some of Maine’s most talented cheesemakers:

We had the pleasure of welcoming a group of 80 agricultural enthusiasts as part of their weeklong tour across Maine. As their first stop, we dove into all things cheese — from the history of cheesemaking to fun facts about curds, cultures, and more.
