High atop Beech Mountain at elevation 5046 feet, Fred's General Mercantile offers a wide variety of merchandise including groceries, hardware, clothing, ski/snowboard rentals, a bird shop, and the BEST chili! Check out our downstairs bird shop (seasonal) in the spring/summer & our ski/snowboard equipment and clothing rentals in the winter located downstairs! On the main middle floor you will find all of the groceries, hardware, and clothing items, as well as lots of Fred's specialty items!
