This is sunrise at Barboursville Vineyards. Fog settles low over the vineyard rows as the first light comes up over the mountains, and the whole estate is quiet before the day begins. Some mornings are worth waking up for.

This is our Cavatelli con Pesto Genovese, one of the newest additions to Palladio's summer menu, tossed with basil-pinenut pesto, green beans, tomatoes, and potatoes.

When our 1997 Cabernet Franc won the Virginia Governor's Cup in 1999, it was widely embraced by winegrowers as the red wine grape Virginia's soil had been begging for.

On August 23rd, join us for a feast exhibiting the varietal's beautiful versatility at our annual Celebration of Cabernet Franc, including current and rare older vintages, no longer available in stores.

Chef Michael Clough's four-course feast opens with a galette of local tomato and burrata, followed by ricotta ravioli with chanterelle mushrooms, peppercorn-crusted filet mignon, culminating in peach spiced cake with a kiss of Philéo.
