First and foremost it’s Friday. RED Friday. Thank you to the brothers and sisters that have served or currently serving in our military. Our bottle was created for you and what you stand for.

Thank you to my South Florida, friends and family for an incredible two weeks while I was down here celebrating Troy’s retirement and celebrating our bourbon.

Headed back to the LowCountry this am but will be back soon to promote our brand. We have some amazing things coming with some amazing partnerships.

We are excited to see flagship release bottles being delivered this week to bourbon fans across the country. On behalf of Troy and I, thank you for supporting us if you picked up a bottle and for those of you that didn’t, get them while we still have some in stock.

Our flagship release (Battalion 1) is a wheat mashbill of 70% corn - 21% wheat - 9% malted barely handpicked and proofed by Troy & I. At 6 yrs we found that the 108 proof was the exact point of the most complex and favorable flavor profile we were looking for in our release. It also just happens that the number “8” in the proof happens to be the firehouse we both retired from.

Whether you like it neat, with a rock, or in an old fashioned cocktail, I think you will find this is a very well balanced bourbon overall.

We have had several people received their bottles with nothing but praise on the other social media outlets. Every bottle that we sell we do donate a portion of the proceeds to first responder & military families for this first release. All future releases will have some type of charity that we will back and support.

Congratulations to not only my bourbon brother, but one hell of a friend, father, and Fort Lauderdale fireman Battalion Chief Troy Cool. You’ve been an inspiration to many of us senior officers, as well as as many of the young men and women of our department. It was an honor to serve in your battalion as the Captain of Firehouse 8 for the years we were there together. It is even more of an honor to be a part of your next chapter as we build this wh***ey label and all of the people were going to be able to help in the coming years through our craft spirits and charity work.

I wish you nothing but health, happiness and success in the years to come. This one is for you bro. Cheers!!🥃

A little over 20 years ago, I met my friend Rick on scene of a car versus a tree. Rick was the homicide detective that worked the case. Rick is also the first one that introduced me to the magical brown water. So today, I thought it was appropriate to surprise him and share a pour together of our Brotherhood & Valor flagship. Rick has a very good pallet that he has acquired over several years and he absolutely loved our stuff. He is also from Louisville, Kentucky so he is the real deal when it comes to bourbon.

Well, he surprised me today when he gave me the rest of his 20 year Pappy Vanwinkle as a congratulations for starting a bourbon label and seeing it through.

Rick, it was great seeing you today and I’m glad that we have stayed friends over the years.

Nothing like holding our dream…..

Shipped a few bottles back home to South Florida to enjoy with friends and family for this very special week for my bourbon brother - Troy as he works his last shift Thursday and we celebrate and honor him on Friday morning at Fort Lauderdale FH8.
