Taste individual barrel components, discover how they work together, and help select the blend that will become a custom Rare Perfection 10-Year expression bottled for The Parlor Room.

Your ticket includes the guided blending experience, barrel-component tastings, charcuterie, and a tasting glass to take home.

Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase the finished bottle separately, with pickup the following day at The Parlor Room. No shipping or bottle holds.

Watching The Parlor Room fill with people, smelling the foodfrom Newman Miller, hearing the shaker tins as Katie Andrade Cruz absolutely slayed behind the bar, I had one of those moments where I just looked around and thought, this is really happening.

Then I got to stand in the space I’ve worked so hard to build and share my why with two brands I deeply admire and a room full of their biggest supporters.

I listened as Pablo shared the stories behind the Willett bottles he chose. I watched Drew pour Wanka, his first barrel pick outside of Willett. I laughed when they laughed, listened as they opened their own book of stories, and sat in pure awe while tasting magical pour after magical pour.

This is bourbon to me.

Community. Behind-the-scenes stories. Laughter. Friendship. And tastings that may never happen this way again.

Thank you Ethan Warneck for going above and beyond, Drew Kulsveen and Pablo Moix for trusting me with this idea, Katie for killing it behind the bar, Newman for sharing his food, my amazing staff, RJL for capturing it all, and every person who showed up and made these two nights possible.

I’ve attended incredible bourbon events. Hosting this one is something I’ll never forget.

The bottles empty. The glasses get washed. But nights like these live on. 🥃

We’re opening up our space and expanding our seating so we can welcome more guests for the brand-hosted bourbon experiences we have coming this fall.

Two podcast hosts walked into The Parlor Room…

Getting to sit down with Jake and Scott from Bourbon Lens and completely nerd out over one of Bardstown’s most historic distilleries was way too much fun!

We talked Barton history, the people and stories behind the wh***ey, 1792 Bourbon, and of course, tasted a few things along the way.

Huge thank you to Jake and Scott for coming to hang out with me and letting me talk about a brand I could clearly talk about for HOURS. 😂 This was such a fun one, and I already want to do more like it!
