Smudge is a menace. But she is cute and has future herd queen energy.

Does this count as dressing for the job I want? How I dress for my goats is how I show up at work. Follow me for fashion advice 🤣

Most times there is more than one correct answer. But as a rule, goat owners can’t agree on anything. What topic do you find has the most answers?

Our vet was out for a herd health/well visit yesterday. Florence strolled over and demanded pets and adoration, which Katie the RVT provided.

I then spent several minutes gushing about how much I love this doe. It’s not coincidence that she is our logo, the face of our brand.

She is deep bodied and wide, an easy keeper and wonderful milk producer. She has large growthy kids, and is a wonderful mother. She is sweet, soulful, and an excellent listener who will hear all your troubles.

Little Tots Estate Florence 2*M is confirmed bred to Cedar View Abraham *B, a repeat of the pairing that produced 4 beautiful kids earlier this year.

Goats should come with a warning label about how amazing and addictive they are.

Thank a Vet Tech!

I learned this morning that this week (October 18-24) is National Vet Tech Week.

Our farm vet is coming today, and employs several vet techs. I am so grateful for them! I ran to the closest “store” to pick them up a little something ❤️

Some coffee and snacks on us is the least I can do.

Who else counts their animals to make sure no one is locked or tapped anywhere?

Inspired by Smudge getting locked in the barn “closet” and gorging herself on hay.
