What a week!

Morgan County Fair 2025 is almost complete. Only thing left is battle of the barns!

A few of our accomplishments this year were..
🐐 Reserve Champion dry yearling Nubian doe
🐐 Reserve Champion dry yearling Nigerian Dwarf doe.
🐐 3rd overall specialty wether
🐐 3rd overall born and raised specialty wether.

Most importantly...our kids had a blast! Well deserved because they have truly put so much work into their goats. We made lots of new friends. We truly felt so welcome here at Morgan County. We're already looking forward to next year!

I filled the chicken feed...put the empty bag down and walked right around the corner to turn off the water hose because it was overflowing the water...and I hear CHAOS in the barn...

Introducing our newest addition to the farm....rabbits! We currently are in the process of getting through which we will be keeping for breeding or selling so be sure to keep an eye out! 👀

If anyone is interested in first dibs on a rabbit before we post them send a message and I can send pictures of what we have. Currently thinking we will have 9 looking for new hutches 🐇 these are mixed breed rabbits, several different colors available, sweet and all able to be held without biting.

Saanen/Nubian (Snubian) wether born 3/23/24.

He was my daughter's 4H wether but she decided not to put him in the auction. However...we do want to see him go to a pet home! He's a sweet goat. Ear tag will be removed before pickup. Bottle baby and raised around kids. He loves foraging in the woods and eating up all the weeds! He takes after his mama. She is a favorite of ours as well and has the sweetest personality. At the fair he was a favorite because he just wanted all the attention and loves!

His dam is Azbill’s RF Kalie Girl aka Kalie. Daughter of *B CH Goddard Farm Kalibo and Goddard Farm Graphite. Lots of good milking genetics here! Kalie is a big girl with the sweetest personality.

His sire is Azbill’s RF Red Ryder. Not only is Red from a high appraising sire at VEE90, but his dam, 5*M J&M Hideaway Bella Pearlina, appraised at EEEV91. Red himself appraised as a yearling at GAA80.
