Razor Mountain Heritage Breeds Farm visits are a great way for children to see a working farm. When you visit you might want to wear your farm clothes and farm shoes.

Come join us at Razor Mountain and see how beautiful Heritage Breeds can be. Tennessee Fainting goats, Gloucestershire Old Spots pigs, Dexter Cow and Calf, and Dominique chickens are an integral part of our farm plan, providing us with food for our table and breeding stock to help preserve these Heritage Breeds. Herb garden, Comfrey beds, an Apiary, and fruit trees and bushes complete our sustainable farm plan.

These boys was all in when it came to getting on these chickens. If we choose not to put the chickens up then the dog will choose to eat them and the goats will choose to run them and all that expensive food they been eating all day will get burned off with all the excitement. Since they are being raised to be eaten by the family that will simply not do.

Just took a few pictures of what was going on around the farm today. Tom and Jerry fixed the fence in the western pasture so in the morning we will put Ace the steer there to wean him from his momma. He is not going to like that .

Somehow mud throwing is always a part of this water activity. The thrower thinks it is the best, the one being thrown at thinks it is not the best. All one can hope for is a feeble throw that someone else doesn't notice.
