HS Wilhelm 🩵🐴
Todays work was relaxing, stretchy trot work with activity and balance.
One handed work...maybe he has Ranch horse classes in his future 😄

Uc***lo Fenice, 2yr old Half Lusitano/Warmblood c**t. He has never worn any equipment besides a halter or cavesson, so today I introduced front boots and then a syrcingle. The video shows all his firsts and how well he adjusted to the new feels. 🩵🩵

At the end of our in hand session today, I asked Johnny for Levade. The idea is to take more weight onto the hind end by flexing and lowering towards the ground and then lift and hold both forelegs off the ground. Today we had lowering of the hindquarters and one foreleg(at a time) maybe next time he will feel secure enough to try both forelegs up. I am happy with how relaxed he stayed while trying this very difficult move.

Side saddle test ride on Finn today was a success🩵🐴 We both had a maiden voyage and even trotted a bit.

Marcus amazes us every day with his sensible, no worries attitude. He had never seen a tire obstacle before we rode up to it. He calmly assessed it and without hesitation proceeded to walk up onto them. We stepped off early(my error...I wasnt ready nor did I have a plan😄) and that didnt bother him at all and he calmly tried again. He is truly one in a million ❤️🐴

HS Wilhelm working over poles, xrails, and even a few small verticle jumps today. He has not been over jumps in a very long time so this was for fun and to bring variety to his work days.
