An exciting weekend for KCHF!

King Creek's Juke Box Hero took home several class placings that earned him a Reserve Champion & 3 Grand Champion placings. So he should have all his points to be a Master Champion now! 🥰

Thanks to our very dear friends, Dawn & John at Big Sky Silkies, we now have MCH AVM A Boy Named Sue home! He is the sweetest boy!💗

Two of our weanling doelings went to their new home at Big Sky Silkies after the show. So excited to see how they do for them!

Other than the rotten drive through Chicago & Indiana's messy toll lanes, it was a fun weekend with our friends & family at the Midwest MSFGA Show in Ohio! Didn't get around to taking many pictures. Just a few to share.

It's not just pretty goats that we enjoy here at our hobby farm. We also enjoy the company of our beautiful horses, silly cats and dogs, and chickens.
It's always heartbreaking to lose any of our critters here.

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to my beautiful & sweet girl Dixie (AQHA Foxy Yellow Bug). So many wonderful & cherished memories that I'll forever hold dear to my heart. She was my baby before I had my own babies. She lived a good life & was loved by many. Fly high my pretty girl! 😭💔

We had a nice time at the Great Lakes Mini Silky Fainting Goat Show in Michigan. Special thanks to Hidden View Farm & Chapman Family Farms for putting on a lovely Show. ☺️
Pulled some nice ribbons & showed against a lot of beautiful goats. Truly impressed with how tough the competition has become. This breed is moving forward wonderfully.

We are excited to announce some new additions to our herd. They bring some new bloodlines that we are really excited about!

Due to no fault of her own, pretty little KCHF Tiny Bee Lily is able to catch a ride to a new 🏡 from the Michigan Show (or other possible arrangements can be made). Sadly, the other home had to back out for understandable reasons. Since she was on the list to travel to the show & passed the CVI, we'll still bring her along.
