This week I cleaned and organized my greenhouse so that I could deck it out for the holidays. I set up 2 different winter settings and this weekend will work on a 3rd with old windows. If you are having holiday or winter pictures, consider Sheba Acres. Have your photographer reach out at [email protected].

I've been spending evenings and mornings collecting seeds. It has allowed me to spend sunsets and sunrises out in the field. It is such a calming place to start and end my day.

If you are looking for a place for family photos, photographers can book an hour in the field. Reach out at [email protected] to schedule. Likely only 2 more weeks of flowers before frost!

It looks like really heavy rain and storms until noon so I will 'open' the farmstand at noon. If it is still raining, I will keep one of the doors closed to limit rain inside the farmstand. Bouquets have started to make a more fall color transition but I'm all for it. Yellow & purple bouquets are always my favorite. Here is a sneak peek of what is going in the stand at noon!

What a good few days away with family in Upstate NY. My baby sister asked me to do some floral arrangements for her wedding. I have never done wedding flowers before. I have an all new appreciation for those that do wedding pieces. It is a lot of very time-consuming work. I was very fortunate to find a local flower farmer to buy buckets of flowers from. Absolutely beautiful flowers to work with. Thank you Jenny Flowerwell! Of course, I did not take any pictures of the flowers when they were set up during the ceremony so these are after they moved to the reception areas and had been in the sun for awhile. But they still look lovely and the little pops of purple made it all the way from my farm in Michigan.

I will have the farmstand restocked with flowers tomorrow. Today is all about catching up on house and farm chores.
