"Survey Say's !!!"

Well.... Couple of days ago I randomly asked, "What's your Favorite Veggie or other to eat straight from the Garden????....

And here are the results - -

#1) Tomatoes (Tomato 7 + Cherry Tomato 5 = 12!!!)
#2) Peas (Peas 6 + Pea Pods 3 = 9!!!)
#3) Raspberry = 5
#4 Carrots = 4
#5 Strawberry, Kohlrabi???!!!, tied at = 3
#6 Peppers, Cucumbers tied at =2

Then #7 - Radish, Asparagus, Sweet Corn, Zucchini, Cantaloupe, French Sorrel, and Lettuce/Greens all tied at = 1

Interesting results.... or at least interesting to me !!!!....
Multiple mentions that I hadn't considered before !!!

So I may have to reconsider my spring planting list .....

Summer is almost here in the Vineyard - - Many of you will be doing some outdoor grilling and barbecuing as we all wait for the 2014 grapes to ripen. For a change, you might consider adding some pieces of old grape vines to your smokers or even your grills for added flavor. Just chop them up and soak 'em in water for awhile. If you're interested, we have a good supply stacked up from renovating our plot originally planted in 1956! - - And, Ummm, donations are accepted if you're in the mood......
