Three of the girls are out today with mom learning the ropes. They are not fans of electric fencing but they will learn fast! I wish we would have started Bud and Petal on electric earlier.

Freshly rendered pork leaf lard from our Mangalitsa pig that was just sent to be processed. Such high quality! Great for baking and cooking. Let me know if you would like to try some!

A couple of weeks ago we moved Sebastian into the smaller pasture so he could be with Ariel. You know Ariel as the runaway heifer. Anyways, this morning the dogs were extra loud. When I went to take Klayton to school, I looked out into the pasture to find Sebastian back in with the herd. Apparently the draw of Rosie in heat was enough for him to jump 2 fences. Of course then I panicked because what if Ariel tried to follow?!? Thankfully she was happy as can be in her regular space. Cows are fun.
