It’s Wednesday, and we know what that means, it’s market day for the Barre Farmers Market. We will be attending a fundraising event out of town. Please be sure to stop by our farm-stand if you need to restock your freezer, we will see you next week.

📦 Buying in bulk can feel confusing. We will review your cut sheet closely with you so that you get the things that you want without the things that you don’t.

🌱 Our 🐖 are raised on pasture with room to roam. No added hormones or routine antibiotics. Locally processed.

💰How Pricing Works: We charge $6.00 per pound hanging weight. We aim for hanging weights of about 200lbs. *Some pigs are under or over this given varying growth rates.

Update - Tracy Simon is the 🏆 winner. Her guess of 1066 was only 2 lb off the weight of 1068. Tracy you can choose sausage when you come for your chicken 🐓 CSA pickup!

Contest alert 🎉… We received 5 🐖 back from the butcher this week (Yorkshire/Landrace/Duroc cross). Closest guess of their combined hanging weight in the next 24 hours gets a free package of our linked sausage….and go!

It’s that time of year when we begin to restock the items that we have sold out of, and as of last night, we have restocked the following:

Bone-in pork chops
Boneless pork chops
Spare ribs
Baby back ribs
Country style ribs
Pork tenderloin

For the weekend, we will be restocked with all chicken🐓 cuts! To include the boneless skin on thighs, wings, breasts and drumsticks.

Bacon 🥓 and hams 🍖are a few weeks away still.

Mother Nature has a different plan for us this afternoon....The Barre Farmers Market is canceled for today. If you need any of the items we sell, please stop by our self-serve farmstand.

Due to the forecast for this afternoon and evening, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s Wednesdays in Currier Park, including the Barre Farmers Market, Food Trucks and Concert.

We’re disappointed, but we look forward to seeing everyone back in Currier Park next Wednesday for another great evening of food, music, shopping, and community.

Happy Monday folks. We are taking a rare vacation to North Carolina so we will not be able to be at this weeks market. Sorry for the inconvenience, our self serve farm stand is open and stocked should you need something before next Wednesday.
