We are excited to finally be able to share this video after a few years of collaborative work with the Sustainable Farming Association and Great River Greening. It's been a rewarding process to be able to reflect on our farming journey thus far as we continue the long view of ecological restoration here on our farm. We hope you find this five minute view helpful as you work on your own land management. Please feel free to reach out to see how goats can be useful at your special spot!

Our goats are having a busy start to their working season! We'd be happy to visit your place for a free consult on how our goats can help clear your brush and maintain your land so you can fully enjoy it. We bring the goats, fencing, and water tanks, and monitor their progress while they work. Ready to see how goats can be put to work at your place? Give Bryan a call at 320-492-2526. (Easier than lugging a chainsaw, with longer lasting results!)

One of the best parts of being a farmer this time of year is the opportunity to deepen our farming knowledge while rubbing shoulders with other producers at winter conferences. This week, however, takes the cake. It was truly remarkable to hear from the legendary Dr. Temple Grandin at the Sustainable Farming Association's Midwest Grazing and Soil Health Summit. Dr. Grandin's deep knowledge and tireless commitment to animal welfare is an inspiration, and we are humbled to have spent time learning from her in person. What a great couple of days! (Oh yeah, Bryan gave a session on Silvopasture at the Summit, and last week presented a session called 'Reclaiming the Back Forty: One Farmer's Story of Winning the Battle Against Buckthorn' at the Central MN Farm Show. If these topics are of interest to you as you manage your land, we'd be happy to help you further explore options for your own slice of paradise.) Happy farming!
