I’m sorry to report that we lost our special Jockey Club Registered mare, Bet On Grace yesterday. Gracie won over $96,000 at the track and was by Alaskan Frost out of Fight Over Jeani. She had 38 Starts with the following record: 5 - 5 - 6. Gracie was independent and seemed a bit aloof if she didn’t know you. She loved her peppermints and carrots. She had a couple of race horse foals and for us she had a gelding by RID stallion, Foxglen Himself (Bellwether Almost Irish, aka Harry) and a gelding by Rid stallion, Heathercombe Calico (Bellwether Ambition, aka Earlie). She was an excellent mother!! Gracie was 24 and was much loved. She has only had a couple of owners and we have had her for more than a decade. She has been in the care of our dearest friends, Tom and Bonnie Gerdes who cared for her and loved her like their own. For that, we will always be grateful. We will miss our Gracie girl!! Pictured are Gracie with Earlie and Earlie schooling at home.

Bellwether Arctic Fox (Cogan) is available this spring. He has very good semen quality and is collected at Wisconsin Equine. We are expecting two purebred and one sporthorse foal. Cogan is currently showing in the jumper ring and doing very nicely.
