We haven't run a Coffeehouse since the Community Center closed for renovations, but that doesn't mean that our friends haven't been busy! Check out the new Youth Darts Academy hosted by the folks over at the American Legion Hall Post #8. It's a great activity for kids on a Sunday night!! It starts on May 3rd!

Just a "heads-up"! Due to the fact that the Bay Spring Community Center has been closed for construction until 2026, there haven't been a lot of opportunities to hear the Local Brew "house band", Drownville Station. GOOD NEWS!! The band will be playing at the 4th Annual Porch Concert on Washington Street in Warren on Saturday, September 6th! In fact, they'll be the musical hosts (just like at a Local Brew)!! Come on out for this family-friendly event and hear Mark Cutler, Beth Barron and, of course, our "house band"! We really hope to see everybody there!!

Thanks to everyone who helped make last night's Local Brew Coffeehouse such a memorable evening! It was an amazing performance by Atwater~Donnelly. Kudos to our sponsors: the Friends of the Bay Spring Community Center and the Town of Barrington for allowing us to use the warm, intimate performance space and our long-time, coffee sponsor, New Harvest Coffee Roasters. (If you liked the coffee that you drank last night, there's plenty more where that came from at 10 Sims St., in Providence. It's in the same building as the winter Farmer's Market.) A big shout-out to Dr G, our Local Brew Events audio engineer (just one of the many hats he wears) for dialing in the evening's incredible sound, both in the house and on stage. And finally, a big THANK YOU to everyone who braved the frigid temps to come out and support local music!!
