The picnic on Saturday was so.much fun. The drumsticks preformed and we had the name reveal and ribbon cutting for our new chicken trailer coop.

One of our girls really put in the effort with this egg. It's the biggest egg we have ever found and it turned out to be a triple yolk!

The hole in the roof has been patched, hen entrance door has secure latches, accent wall and floor installed. It's all coming along nicely.

Life and weather postponed the chicken coop transformation, but we are back at it! First order of business.... a good power washing.

From cotton ball to q-tip...This past weekend was sheering day at the farm. All the alpaca, llama, Cole the goat and Sammy the sheep got fresh haircuts. They are ready for the summer heat. Thank you to ShearingAlpaca.com for doing an amazing job as always!!!!!!!

Fellow local gardeners... We have Alpaca fiber seconds available for sale. $20 for an approximate 10 ounce bag.
Their fiber helps with water retention making for less watering, works as a w**d barrier and is a slug deterrent. Available for pick up at the farm or at the Dole Farmers market in Crystal Lake this Saturday.
