If you've been by our place lately, you may have wondered what the "covered wagon" is in our front field. 🧐

We are doing our first trial of pasture raised poultry! 🐔

Yes, we have our "Meat and Poultry" broker license but we are currently only authorized sell BEEF. 🥩

Selling chicken or eggs off the farm is a whole 'nother animal. Literally. There are additional inspections and requirements that we haven't sorted through yet so we are simply raising this first batch for our own consumption. 🍗🍳

BUT if farm fresh chicken and/or eggs is something you would be interested in purchasing from us in the future, let us know in the comments! ⏬️💬

It's official ⭐️

Our Meat and Poultry Broker License was renewed to continue serving you quality meats into 2027!

While this distinction is not required for selling custom shares, it has been one of our best business decisions - to be able to provide you, as our customers, individual cuts on demand.

This credential requires processing at a USDA or state-inspected facility (shout out to Trenton Processing Center), specific labeling, and verification of proper inventory management.

Trust that you are receiving safe and quality beef when you shop with us!

And our response is generally:

"A little bit of everything!"

While our most popular items are boneless steaks and ground beef, we are working with the whole animal 🐄 and also have miscellaneous cuts like roasts, soup meat, short ribs, brisket, and offal items (oxtail, tongue, and heart!) ❤️

They may require a little different cooking technique, they are all delicious and nutritious options. 👩🏼‍🍳🍽
