2025 threw us some curveballs, and we stepped back to focus on family. But the work hasn't stopped: the oldest just got her 2nd bobcat and 1st skunk this season, with the youngest ready to trap by winter 2026. By this spring, we'll be back at it, building out infrastructure for our garden, poultry, cattle, and goats. Regaining our footing and pushing forward.

We've been busy with new calves, chicks, and a kindergarten graduation. We visited the sale barn and made garden progress despite rain and nearby tornadoes. No damages, and we're continuing training this weekend. We've started long-term projects, including grape and raspberry planting, seed starting, and maintaining our cranky but thriving bee colonies.

So over this fall/ winter the farm had 2 sheep attacked at two different times same location.

The oldest volunteered to attend youth trapping camp this last weekend at Warika Lake, Oklahoma. She didn't come back empty handed, She was lucky enough to have a catch in a Dog proof as well as a dirt set.

Thank you Oklahoma Fur Bearers Alliance for putting on a grate camp as well as having very informative instructors. Our family and The farm is looking forward to the 2024 camp's.
