I should have just left them out there with those wasps and hoped for the best. I wish so badly I would have. I am so sad, but I learned a lesson today and I just wanted to share it about systemic pesticide so it won’t happen to you too.

My first time ever trying to put caterpillars into an enclosure instead of just leaving them in the garden and I failed them.

If you’re local Evans is not a safe place to buy herbs. And they honestly just didn’t care atall. So that’s a place I will never be returning.

I only took a small portion of them to put in the enclosure! 🐛 And left the rest in the garden. One, because I don’t have enough potted rue for them to all eat and two, because I really think doing it naturally out in the garden is the best way to do it but I want to ensure that some of these make it to the butterfly ✨TRANSFORMATION!✨ 🦋

The wasps are a hard pill to swallow but nature knows what she is doing… 🌎🧚✨

I know I talk about it every year but it’s just THAT dang good!!! 😊 NOTHING and I mean NOTHING compares to Trombocino Squash in my opinion!!! 🤗🌼

She’s a vine borer RESISTANT Italian Heirloom Variety for starters!! I have NEVER lost a Trombocino vine due to borers!!! That’s INCREDIBLE!!

She’s soft, she’s nutty! 🤤 She cooks up like a dream and also stores extremely well for winter!!

Have you grown Trombocino Squash? If so is she also your favorite squash to grow? If not!! What is? 👀

Me and my oldest daughter could smell that rain coming and we waited for it to arrive ✨IMPATIENTLY✨ and then played and danced in it!!!

That north wind was absolutely ✨MAGICAL!!!✨ 🧚✨
