Each Month Jimbo’s Liquors will be featuring someone for their “Locals Choice” and showcasing a specific product. This month we are featuring Melanie Evans, a Basalt local. Melanie has lived in the Valley for over ten years and works for Wells Fargo. She loves the Summer months, doing everything from camping, rafting and hiking to enjoying the many happy hours this Valley has to offer. This month Melanie is drinking Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio and Chianti Classico. She is a wine lover for sure, and says these two bottles never disappoint. Each month Jimbo’s Liquors will be featuring someone for their “Locals Choice” and showcasing a specific product. This month we are featuring Melanie Bourgeois, a Basalt local. Melanie lives here in the Valley with her husband Travis, three children, and two dogs, Chloe and Royce. Her children attend school in Basalt and are very active in all different sports and activities. Melanie and Travis have lived in the Valley for almost 15 years, and Melanie is currently working for Bank of Colorado in Basalt. This month Melanie is drinking Colome, a 2015 Malbec form Salta, Argentina. Melanie says “If you know me, it’s no secret that I enjoy my wine, and I especially love a delicious red! As a mom of three, not a drop goes to waste in my house and this wine is perfect for the cold temperatures outside lately. I absolutely love it, and feel fancy, even drinking it alone and hiding from my kids. Ha! Grab a bottle today and you won’t be disappointed!”

Each month Jimbo’s Liquors will be featuring someone for their “Locals Choice” and showcasing a specific product. This month we are featuring Jeremi Kentz, a Basalt local. Jeremi owns Confluence Coffee in town and enjoys his life here in the Valley taking advantage of all it has to offer. This month Jeremi is drinking Backcut Rum Unfiltered Single Barrel. He loves the Backcut because it has noticeable notes of butter and vanilla from the white oak bourbon barrels with an additional hint of smoky-ness. A true original proofed with water from Cache la Poudre (French for Cache of Powder), that flows through Fort Collins CO. Jeremi enjoys it neat or mixed, as it has such a clean taste and good flavor.
