Update on repair. ...We decided to go with a high temp two part cold weld repair and it has worked out nicely so far. We dye penetrant tested the cracks to find the ends. We drill stopped the cracks, excavated them slightly, applied the fix... !

Tomorrow's project. Cracked block on diesel power unit a due to freeze. Will perform dye penetrant test to verify ends of cracks. The cracks will be drill stopped to prevent further cracking during repair. Cracks will be excavated and welded with nickle 55 rods (1/8th diameter,) in 1/2 " increments and hammered (pinged) while hot to hopefully make sound welds with no cracking. This will be cast material we are welding on. Any of my cwi/api guru friends and coworkers that may have any input lemme have it.

Really enjoyed hunting with Emmett and Spencer Duplechain this morning! Emmett got to shoot his daddy's 12 gauge which he bagged a Greenwing Drake with. All about memories guys. Bring your kids hunting and they'll never forget it.

Blinds are prepped and ready for big duck season. There are tons of birds that moved in during the last front and we have been seeing thousands daily. Opening weekend is booked but if you would like to make hunts with us for future dates please contact us. Guided hunts are 200$ per gun.
